Color photo of the Second World War: Hotel “Krasnaya” in occupied Kharkov. Before the revolution, this hotel was called “Metropol”. It was one of the most beautiful buildings in the city, but during the Nazi occupation it suffered very badly and was not subject to restoration. In place of the Hotel “Krasnaya” after the war, a new building was built, the architecture usual for that time.
