Ivan Andreevich Kulichev (1920-1979) – pilot of attack aircraft of the Red Army Air Force. From July 1943 he fought as a member of the 155th Guards Attack Aviation Kiev Regiment of the 9th Guards Attack Aviation Krasnograd Division. By July 1944, Ivan Kulichev made 103 sorties, destroyed 8 tanks, 38 vehicles, 5 railway wagons, three anti-aircraft batteries, and shot down two enemy aircraft. On October 26, 1944, Ivan Kulichev was awarded the title of Hero of the Soviet Union with the Order of Lenin and the Gold Star medal (No. 4611). In addition, he was awarded three Orders of the Red Banner, the Order of Alexander Nevsky, the Patriotic War of the 1st and 2nd degree, two Orders of the Red Star.
