German flying bomb (unmanageable cruise missile) V-1 in flight before impact on the English city.
V-1 (A-2, Fi-103, Fizeler-103, FZG 76) is a flying bomb, which was in service with the German army in the middle of the Second World War. This name comes from the German Vergeltungswaffe-1 (“Vengeance Weapon-1”).
