German self-propelled gun “Oswald” on the chassis “Matilda II”


Self-propelled gun “Oswald” was made by the Nazis in late 1942 on the chassis of the captured English “Matilda II” infantry tank using a 50-mm tank gun and MG.15 machine gun. This fighting vehicle was used in one of the training units of the Wehrmacht.
