German prisoners of war in the US are harvesting beets at the Jack Rathban farm, Nisland, South Dakota.
A 1,5-ton Ford truck full of German prisoners of war. The truck driver is 13-year-old Grove Ratban and his 9-year-old brother David. Behind the car stands an armed guard.
