Heinkel He.46

German Heinkel He.46 aircraft at the field airfield. Eastern front.

Heinkel He.46 was designed as a near-line reconnaissance aircraft and a liaison plane, but on the Eastern front, He.46 was used as a night bomber (the aircraft could carry 20 of the 10-kg bombs) as part of the “troubling” squadrons modeled on Soviet squadrons with U-2 biplanes.
