German 80mm multiple rocket launcher system

Toward the end of World War II, the German designers created an 80-mm multiple rocket launcher system mounted on the chassis of captured French medium semi-tracked armored personnel carriers S303(f) and S307(f) with 48 Raketensprenggranate missiles (8cm RSprgr.). These combat vehicles were in service with the Waffen SS.

The rockets were almost an exact replica of the Soviet M-8 missile, known as the Katyusha. In total, the Nazis created 6 combat vehicles to launch these missiles.

At first, these machines were tested as part of the Waffen SS, and then were moved to the Schnelle West Brigade (21.PzDiv.).
