Konstantin (Ksaverevich) Rokossovsky (Polish Konstanty Rokossowski; 9  in December 1896, Warsaw, Polish Kingdom, the Russian Empire – August 3, 1968, Moscow, USSR.) – Soviet and Polish military commander, twice Hero of Soviet Union (1944, 1945) . Unique in the history of the USSR Marshal of the two countries: Marshal of the Soviet Union (1944) and Marshal of Poland (1949). He commanded the Victory Parade June 24, 1945 in Moscow on Red Square. One of the greatest generals of World War II.
