Adjutant of the III/JG2 Luftwaffe group Armin Faber on June 23, 1942, due to a navigation error, landed his Fokke-Wulf Fw 190A fighter aircraft at the English Pembry air base (Carmarthenshire, Wales) and was captured.
It was the first Focke-Wulf Fw 190A, caught by the British Force.
