Fighter pilot, the future Hero of the Soviet Union (1943), Senior Lieutenant Vladimir Pavlovich Pokrovsky (1918-1998) next to his fighter P-40E Kittyhawk of American manufacturing, which supplies to the USSR under the Lend-Lease Act.
