German soldiers from the Wehrmacht (Armed Forces of the Third Reich) in the fighting for the Red Army 35th Artillery Battery in the Battle of Sevastopol. Eastern Front, Second World War.
Nazi Wehrmacht failed to suppress the Russian artillery nor from artillery fire or by a Luftwaffe bombers. July 1, 1942 the 35th Artillery Battery in the Battle for Sevastopol has released 6 direct-fire projectiles at the advancing infantry of the German army, and on the night of July 2, 1942 Battery Commander Captain Leshchenko organized the explosion of the 35th Battery.
