HMSM Stratagem, the construction started April 15, 1942, launched on June 21, 1943, accepted into the Royal Navy of Great Britain on October 9, 1943.
Stratagem Submarine served in the Pacific. The submarine sank the Japanese tanker Nichinan Maru; unsuccessfully attacked a German U-181 submarine.
The HMSM Stratagem was sunk on November 22, 1944 in the Strait of Malaca by depth charges from the Japanese submarine hunter CH35. 10 crew members managed to escape.
