Emergency landing of F6F-3 carrier-based fighter on the “Enterprise” aircraft carrier. Lieutenant Walter L. Chewing, Jr, taken at the burning plane to help the pilot to get out. The pilot, Ensign Byron M. Johnson, survived and serious injuries have not received.
