Dunkirk beach – Abandoned because of the hasty evacuation of military equipment on the beach of Dunkirk after the shameful defeat of France by the Wehrmacht during the Nazi Blitzkrieg in the West.

On the beach of Dunkirk in May 26, 1940 – June 4, 1940 was an operation to evacuate through the English Channel Strait British, French and Belgian expeditionary forces, which have been blocked by the advancing German troops on Dunkirk beach.
The loss of the English army at Dunkirk beach totaled 2,400 guns, 700 tanks, 130,000 cars.
