Destroyed Panther


The destroyed German medium tank PzKpfw V of modification D2, irretrievably lost during the operation “Citadel” (Kursk Bulge). This photo is interesting because there is a signature on it – “Ilyin” and date “26/7”. Probably, Ilyin is the surname of the commander of the anti-tank gun that hit the tank.
