A German soldier is posing on the armor of the French heavy tank Char В1-bis №209 Senegal, destroyed on May 19, 1940 by German anti-tank artillery in Saint Simon.
Tank from the 1st platoon of the 1st company of the 15th Tank Battalion 2nd Tank Division.
The tank commander Lieutenant Léon Dufour, the gunner-gun gunner Sergeant Schmidt, the charging-assistant driver of the senior Private Peillon, the radio operator of the private Mortier.
