Corporal Luther E. Boger of the 82nd US Division is reading a poster near the burned “Panther”medium tank against the background of the Cologne Cathedral, which warns of the danger of falling under the fire of German artillery.
The burnt tank against the backdrop of the Cologne Cathedral is one of the most famous “Panther” medium tank. The panther was destroyed by the American heavy tank M26 Pershing and caught fire, which was filmed and today you can watch the video.
