Messerschmitt Me-262

The first fully operational German Messerschmitt Me-262 jet fighter, which was captured by the Allied army.
On March 31, 1945 the test pilot of Messerschmitt Me-262 Hans Fay surrendered to the Allies on this Me-262A-1A plane, landing at the airfield in Frankfurt. Subsequently, this Messerschmitt Me-262 was tested in the US and on August 20, 1946, it crashed in one of the flights (the American pilot escaped by jumping out with a parachute).
