The LaGG-3 is a single-seat single-engine piston monoplane fighter that was in service with the Red Army air force before and during World War II. It was used as a fighter, interceptor fighter, fighter-bomber, reconnaissance aircraft, produced in 1941—1944. LaGG-3 is One of the three fighters of the new generation, put into service before the Second World War (MiG-3 and Yak-1).
