Canadian Snowberry corvette (HMCS Snowberry) moored in a seaport.

Snowberry corvette, the board number is K166, class – Flower.
Snowberry corvette was built in the UK.
Snowberry corvette construction began on February 24, 1940, launched on August 08, 1940, and was accepted into the Canadian Navy on November 26, 1940.

The Snowberry corvette was used in the Atlantic to escort Allied naval convoys and as part of a group of submarine-hunting ships. Participated in the sinking of the German U-536 submarine from the Nazi Kriegsmarine.

HMCS Snowberry withdrew from the Canadian Navy on June 08, 1945 and returned to Britain.
