Canadian “Snowflake” corvette (HMCS Snowflake) in the sea in 1943.
Board number K211, class – Flower. Was built in the UK.
Canadian corvette “Snowflake” started construction on May 19, 1941, launched on August 22, 1941, was accepted into the Canadian Navy on November 2, 1941.

The Canadian corvette “Snowflake” was used in the North Atlantic to accompany convoy escorts between Halifax and the Western approaches.
The Canadian corvette Snowflake as part of a group of ships participated in the sinking of the German submarine U-125.
The Canadian Snowflake corvette was withdrawn from the Navy in 1947, it was cut to metal in 1963.
