A photograph of a half-dead soldier from the Müller combat group, which defeated the settlement of Quineville in Lower Normandy. This improvised combat group consisted of three battalions of the 243rd Wehrmacht Infantry Division, a battalion of the 709th Infantry Division, artillery units. Quineville was liberated from the Nazis on June 14, 1944 by soldiers of the American 9th Infantry Division.
