Broken and burned US destroyers “Downes” (USS Downes) (left) and “Cassin” (USS Cassin) (right) in dry dock number 1 in Pearl Harbor Navy Base. The Pacific Theater of Operations, Second World War.

Behind the US destroyers is the “Pennsylvania” battleship, only slightly damaged by the Japanese air raid.
