In the photo, American B-26 Marauder bombers during the bombing of the bridge over the Moselle River near the town of Trier-Pfalzel in Germany.

On this day, 69 of the B-26 of the 323 and 394 bomber groups of the US Air Force attacked the bridge between 13-30 and 13-45 pm. A total of 122.3 tons of bombs were dropped.
