Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress bombed Focke-Wulf military factory


American bomber Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress bombed Focke-Wulf military factory in Marienburg. It was the first major US air raid on German territory. On the way back, Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress bombers were intercepted raised in the air by German fighters. The Americans lost 80 aircraft.
