Blazing an American B-29 Superfortress heavy four-engine bomber (from the 29th Bomb Group, 20th Air Force of the US Air Force) in the sky over the Marianas in 1945.

According to other sources, this photo was taken near the Japanese city of Shimonoseki, it was there 29th Bomb Group lost 2 of the B-29 Superfortress bomber at different times – the first – May 28, 1945 and the second – July 9, 1945.
