Bataan Death March

Captured Americans and their Filipino allies escorted by Japanese soldiers are in the 97-kilometer route of the Bataan Death March.
This march was called “Bataan Death March” because thousands of prisoners were killed by hunger, thirst, wounds or were killed by Japanese escorts for no reason.
The organizer of Bataan Death March was the Japanese general Masaharu Homma, who after the war was shot as a war criminal.
