The American aircraft: US Bombers B-25, A-20 Boston (Havoc) and P-39 fighters, prepared for delivery to the Soviet Union under the Lend-Lease Act, lined up along the runway from the base of the US Air Force Ladd Field in Alaska before the arrival of the selection committee from the USSR.
