The famous British Queen Mary liner arrived from Europe to New York on June 20, 1945 with thousands of US Army soldiers who returned to their homeland after the defeat of Nazi Germany.
The passenger liner “Queen Mary”, transferred during the Second World War to the navy, is completely painted in a gray “military” color.
