The American Douglas C-47 “Skytrain” aircraft flies over the famous Egyptian pyramids in Giza near Cairo.
Douglas C-47 Skytrain or Dakota – American military transport aircraft, developed on the basis of passenger DC-3. I made the first flight on December 23, 1941, about 10,000 aircraft of this type were built. Douglas C-47 Skytrain was widely used by Allied forces in the Second World War, and after its termination for a long time remained in service in many countries around the world.
