American soldiers are firing from a 240-mm howitzer M1 to the fortress of Intramuros. Intramuros – the oldest district of modern Manila, the capital of the Philippines.
Brick walls encircling the area (Intramuros in translation – “inside walls”), reached 13 m in thickness and 6 m in height.
