American M7 “Priest” self-propelled gun destroys the fuselages of Japanese aircraft at the aircraft factory in Gifu.
Under the right track of the American M7 Priest is test high-speed army fighter Kawasaki Ki-78 KEN (research). The plane was equipped with a Daimler-Benz engine and reached a speed of about 700 km/h during one of the flights, but had significant glider deficiencies that could not be eliminated. The works were abandoned by the Japanese in 1944.
