American female soldiers salute the Soviet traffic regulator in Berlin near the Brandenburg Gate.

Female military personnel WAC (Women’s Army Corps) Louise Evans, Mary Cornett and Arlena MacPherson during a walk around Berlin welcome the Soviet military traffic regulator Sofya Petrovskaya on her post near the Brandenburg Gate.

Sergeant Sophia Alekseevna Petrovskaya (born in 1925), in the Red Army from May 1944, the head of the regulating post of the 186th road-commandant section of the military road No. 37, on February 22, 1945 was awarded the medal “For Military Merit”.
