American crew rest near their M4A3 “Sherman”

M4A3 Sherman


The American crew of the 14th Tank Division is resting at its M4A3(76)W Sherman medium tank, armed with a 76-mm long-barreled M1A1 cannon (without muzzle brake).
For additional protection, the Sherman tank is “screened” with sandbags.
