Bataan Death March

Captive Americans and their Filipino allies under the escort of Japanese soldiers go to the 97-kilometer Bataan Death March.
This march was called “Bataan Death March” because thousands of prisoners were killed by hunger, thirst, wounds or were killed by Japanese escorts for no reason.

Location: Bataan, Luzon,
Date: April 1942
