Abandoned KV-2 by his crew and captured by the Nazis the Soviet heavy tank armed with a 152 mm gun-howitzer of the unit of the 1st Armored Division of the Red Army. This KV-2 heavy tank was destroyed in the arrangement of the 14th Army. Karelia region, Allakurti, July 1941.

Abandoned KV-2 is the Soviet heavy assault tank from the initial period of the Great Patriotic War. Abbreviation KV means “Kliment Voroshilov” – the official name of the series of Soviet heavy tanks release 1939-1943, named after the hero of the Russian Civil War (1918-1922), a military and political leader – Kliment Voroshilov.
